That’s right, you read the title of this post correctly. In a press conference last month regarding his Recovery Act, President Obama indeed proclaimed, “I know the idea may not be glamorous…Someone said insulation is not very sexy…I disagree…Here’s what’s sexy about it: saving money!”

Of course the President is reiterating what we’ve known all along (that insulation is exciting) as well as that “the simple act of installing new windows, doors, insulation, roofing, sealing leaks, modernizing heating and cooling equipment is one of the fastest, easiest and cheapest things we can do to put Americans back to work, while saving money and reducing harmful emissions.”
